Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

What can I expect for my first session?

Before your first session, you will receive an intake paperwork packet. We can send it to you, or you can fill it out online. Your therapist will take the first session to provide an assessment and really get to listen to your needs and goals. This provides the therapist the opportunity to tailor your treatment. After this, your therapist will give a recommendation on what type of treatment they would suggest, and how often they need to see you for your desired outcome.

What are my next steps?

You can contact our office to schedule an appointment or to schedule a consultation call. From there, you will receive access to an online portal with resources, documents, and appointment reminders.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, cash, check, and HSA or FSA (please check with your insurance to see if you have an HSA or FSA).

If you choose to do out of network benefits, please contact your insurance provider. For more information, please contact our office.

What is the Good Faith Estimate?

A new law was passed that requires all healthcare providers to provide a Good Faith Estimate. Here is what that means for you:

  • You will receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of your services. This is just an estimate and will be updated if there are any changes.

  • You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate at anytime. We will provide you with one before your first session. You can also request one before scheduling.

  • The Good Faith Estimate gives you the right to dispute a bill that is at least $400 or more than the Good Faith Estimate.

  • You can save or take a picture of your Good Faith estimate for your reference. For any questions about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, you can visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call our office at 502-785-5200
